Centre, Ala. — รศรรสำฦต Cherokee is home to three new programs at the Centre campus. The College is now offering Child Development, Health Information Technology Management and Massage Therapy, all in a hybrid format. The programs begin this semester. For more information, visit . รศรรสำฦต to offer short-term certificate in Robotics
Gadsden, Ala. — รศรรสำฦต is offering a short-term certificate in Robotics beginning in this semester to assist in filling the growing demand for skilled technical workers. The program requires completion of 24 credit hours and provides students with the skills to address robotics and advanced robotics for engineering and manufacturing companies, particularly those related to defense and automotive manufacturers and suppliers in Alabama. It will be taught on the Ayers Campus in Anniston and the East Broad Campus in Gadsden.
Students can also choose to continue their education to earn an Associate in Applied Science in Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation. รศรรสำฦต awarded grant to open Educational Opportunity Center
Gadsden, Ala. — รศรรสำฦต’s Cheaha Educational Opportunity Center, designed to identify and provide services for individuals with disadvantaged backgrounds, is available to assist in meeting Alabama’s Success Plus Initiative to grow a skilled-labor pipeline by 500,000 workforce-ready employees by 2025. The goal of the Cheaha EOC Project is to increase the number of adult participants who enroll in college and assist first-generation students who may not have help with the preliminary stages by assisting them with applying for financial aid and applying to their college of interest. The EOC Project is a federal TRIO program created to serve Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne and Etowah counties.

Massage therapy clinics offered at รศรรสำฦต
Gadsden, Ala. — รศรรสำฦต’s Massage Therapy Program is offering student clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays for faculty, staff, students and the community in Room 200 of Prater Hall on the Valley Street Campus. Massage therapy appointment times are 9 to 10 a.m., 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 2 p.m. The cost is $25 an hour. Call 256-549-8326 in advance to schedule an appointment or leave a message with contact information so that appointments can be confirmed. Gift certificates for hourly massages are also available. The Massage Therapy Program is approved by the State of Alabama Board of Massage Therapy and is accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation.
